ABOUT THE PROJECT
This analysis was conducted for a combination of 3 materials (Forged steel, Nickel-Molybdenum steel, and Nickel-Chromium steel) and 3 beam cross-sections (I section, Box section, and C section). The frame was subjected to various loading conditions. Based on the von-mises stress values and deflection, an optimal combination of material and cross-section was determined.
